Thank you for choosing Hossain Lighting to illuminate your space. Because we operate a premium multi-vendor marketplace, items may be dispatched from different independent vendor warehouses globally. We partner with reliable regional and international courier networks to ensure your light fixtures arrive safely and efficiently.
By placing an order on our Platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping Rates & Calculations
Dynamic Shipping Costs: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and vary based on the package dimensions, total volumetric weight, the origin warehouse location, and your designated delivery address.
Consolidated Shipping: If you purchase multiple lighting fixtures from different vendors within a single transaction, the items will be packaged and shipped separately. Individual shipping charges may apply to each vendor's shipment.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch Timelines
Handling Window: Independent vendors are required to process, secure, and hand over your order to the logistics partner within 24 to 48 hours of order confirmation.
Custom & Bespoke Orders: Built-to-order fixtures (such as large-scale bespoke chandeliers or specialized architectural lighting) require additional production time. Estimated dispatch windows for custom pieces will be explicitly detailed on the specific product listing page before purchase.
Tracking Updates: Once a package is scanned by the courier, a tracking number and a direct tracking link will be sent to your registered email address and updated in your customer dashboard.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery durations depend heavily on the delivery tier selected at checkout and regional logistics networks:
Standard Domestic Shipping: 3 to 7 business days.
Express Premium Shipping: 1 to 3 business days.
International Cross-Border Shipping: 7 to 21 business days (subject to customs clearance processes in the destination country).
4. Packaging of Fragile Goods
Lighting components like glass shades, crystals, delicate metal frames, and integrated LED modules are inherently fragile.
Hossain Lighting enforces strict packaging standards on all registered marketplace sellers.
Sellers are required to utilize custom-molded high-density foam, impact-resistant double-walled corrugated boxes, and crate-reinforcements where necessary to shield structural components during transit.
5. Inspection Upon Delivery (Crucial Protocol)
Because transit damage can occasionally occur despite premium packaging, buyers must follow this verification protocol:
Immediate Inspection: Carefully inspect the exterior of the shipping box and the light fixture inside immediately upon arrival.
Documenting Damage: If you discover any shattered glass, missing hardware, or structural dents, take clear photographs or a short video clip of the packaging and the product.
Reporting Window: You must report any transit damage or missing components to our Support Center within 48 hours of delivery. Prompt reporting ensures that the marketplace vendor can fast-track the shipment of zero-cost replacement parts or an entirely new unit to you.
6. International Shipping, Duties, and Taxes
Customs Clearances: For borderless international deliveries, shipments may be subject to import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), or customs processing fees enforced by your local government.
Buyer's Responsibility: Unless explicitly stated as "Duties and Taxes Included" at checkout, all import clearance fees and local tariffs are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Hossain Lighting has no control over delays caused by regional customs authorities.
7. Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses
Address Accuracy: Buyers must provide completely accurate shipping details, contact phone numbers, and delivery instructions at checkout.
Unclaimed Shipments: If a shipment is returned to the vendor's warehouse due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, or because the courier was repeatedly unable to contact the buyer after multiple attempts, the buyer will be responsible for covering any return-to-vendor shipping fees and re-dispatch costs.
